The services offered under this platform are primarily for Mpesa payment notifications/alerts for ease of payment confirmations by (a) duly authorized individual (s), other than the business owner who has direct access to Mpesa portals/SIM cards.
Work Towers services provides convenience of sending multiple notifications of same payment Mpesa C2B Paybill/Till transactions. The platform does not send alerts for reversal transactions.
Every valid phone number linked to a Paybill/Till number under this platform will be able to receive payment notification.
Only Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom phone numbers are supported under this service
Payment notifications are sent via SMS from Work Towers and will only indicate Mpesa reference number, sender/payer’s first name, amount paid, account number (for paybills), date and time.
SMS notifications are enabled under a prepaid service and units purchased will decrease for each notification sent out. Once units are depleted, notifications will not be sent to linked phone numbers. The customer/merchant (person/who has subscribed to access this platform) will need to purchase more units to enable sending of SMS.
Any payment made when the units are depleted will not have alerts sent out. Alerts will only be sent as long as purchased SMS units can support.
Each Paybill/Till number can only be managed under its own ccount. SMS notifications can only be sent to phone numbers maintained under each profile. A notification will be sent to each valid phone number record, if same phone number is maintained multiple times, it will receive multiple alerts of same payment. Each phone entry is treated as an independent eligible record that should be notified of the payments.
A profile consists of Branches and Staff. Only staff maintained under each profile can receive payment notifications.
The platform has an access fee. One can purchase access for a month, 3 months or 12 months. Unless access is activated, payment notifications/SMS messages cannot be sent through the platform.
You agree to uphold granted access with due care and utmost confidentially. Work Towers will not be liable for unauthorized access occasioned by negligent sharing of platform access credentials.
Upon accessing the platform, you agree to only add staff/phone numbers that are eligible for getting such payment notifications within your business/activities that involve receiving Mpesa payments.
Work Towers is not obligated to notify the merchant/customer of impending expiry of access period, other than through the platform. It shall be the responsibility of the merchant to ensure sustained access through timely subscription for the service.
Work Towers is not obligated to notify the merchant/customer of the impending depletion of purchased SMS units. It shall be the responsibility of the merchant/customer to ensure sustained availability of SMS units for optimal performance of the service.
It is your responsibility to ensure accurate and upto date record of staff/individuals, their branches and phone numbers for efficient service delivery.
Work Towers Services shall not be liable for misrepresentation of records or payment alerts not sent due to inaccurate maintenance of staff/individual records/ insufficient SMS units/inability to access the platform/Mpesa delays in payment processing.
By signing up for this service, you warrant and guarantee that the individuals whose contacts are maintained on the platform are your staff/associates/employees and hence entitled to receive the notifications and that they shall only use the notifications for the purpose of confirming Mpesa payments from your customers.
Work Towers Services shall not be liable for any other use of such notifications and you hereby indemnify and absolve Work Towers Services of any loss/damages/costs that may arise from other use of such notifications, rather than for payment confirmations by your staff/employees/associates for payments made by your customers.
Work Towers Services Shall not be liable for wrong payment/erroneous/mistaken confirmation of a payment to submit that a given customer has duly made payments via Mpesa for goods/services rendered.
To link a Paybill/Till number to the platform, consumer key and secret key from Safaricom’s Daraja platform are required and the corresponding shortcode (Paybill/Till number). By setting up a Paybill/Till number on the platform, you hereby agree that you are the authorized owner of the Paybill/Till number or authorized by the owner to act on his/her behalf for the purposes of this platform, its access and its services.
By signing up for this service and linking your Paybill/Till number, you authorize Work Towers service to access payment details: payment amount/time/ date/payer’s name /reference number for the purpose of sending to your nominated individuals for the purpose of ease of payment notifications.
The service may be revised from time to time and Work Towers Service reserves the right to do even without due notice. Work Towers Services may however endeavor to notify the customer/merchant of the said revisions/changes.
